Credit-Bearing Micro-Credential (CBMC): Driving Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Digital Era
This CBMC is designed for professionals, practitioners, and adult learners in business, analytics, and related fields, with a focus on upskilling, reskilling, and supporting lifelong learning in line with national priorities in the United Arab Emirates. In alignment with the UAE’s growing emphasis on flexible, modular, and stackable qualifications, micro-credentials are increasingly recognized across the higher education and workforce development ecosystem as a means to deliver targeted, industry-relevant learning that can be accumulated towards larger qualifications. The ADSM CBMC follows these principles by offering credit-bearing, quality-assured learning that may contribute to academic progression in accordance with institutional policies and applicable Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) regulations.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive formal academic recognition in the form of institutional credit and certification. Transcripts will clearly indicate the micro-credential title, level, credit hours, learning outcomes, assessment methods, and mode of delivery.
