Dr. Tarek Nasr obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from Paris Dauphine University after having completed his Diploma in Advanced Studies, a postgraduate degree in Management from the same university. Prior to this, he obtained his Master’s degree in international business law and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cairo University, Egypt. He is engaged in the risk management, insurance and reinsurance industry since he obtained his Ph.D. as he was heading during 11 years key operational and management areas at international insurance brokers and insurers. Risk management in emerging financial markets is his main area of research. His teaching interests are essentially Risk Management & Insurance, Financial markets and Corporate Finance, this is in addition to being the head of different academic and non-academic committees at universities.
