ADSM International Learning Experience in Poland - 13 - 20 September 2026

Purpose:
The ADSM International Learning Experience in Poland is a one-week strategic business immersion designed for ADSM students and key stakeholders seeking direct exposure to European business practice, institutional environments, regional development, and cross-border opportunity assessment.

Strategic Rationale:
Poland offers a relevant learning environment for ADSM participants because it combines European Union institutional standards, fast regional development, industrial capacity, infrastructure modernization, entrepreneurship, and growing economic links with global markets. For participants from the UAE and GCC, Poland provides a practical reference point for understanding Central European market entry, public–private cooperation, investment logic, and institutional fit.

Program Structure:
The experience begins with a short online orientation introducing the main themes of international business development, market entry, institutional environments, regional competitiveness, and cross-regional opportunity assessment.

The core component is a guided one-week business and cultural immersion in Poland. Participants will engage with regional and municipal authorities, business leaders, institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, healthcare executives, and senior academic leaders.

The program includes visits and meetings across several sectors, including:

Regional governance and development
Meetings with regional and municipal authorities, including representatives of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and the City of Włocławek, focused on regional strategy, infrastructure, investment, and public–private cooperation.

Corporate and industrial exposure
Company visits and executive discussions in manufacturing, food production, infrastructure, and regional business development, including exposure to production facilities and firm-level growth strategies.

Healthcare and wellness economy
Meetings with healthcare and wellness sector executives, including visits to medical and wellness facilities, illustrating the relationship between public health, regional assets, service strategy, and institutional management.

Cultural and institutional context
Participants will also experience selected elements of Poland’s cultural and historical environment, including Toruń, Gdańsk, Sopot, Ciechocinek, and major regional sites. These components are designed to strengthen contextual understanding, not to function as tourism-only activities.

Key Locations:
Toruń will serve as the main program base. Additional visits are planned in Włocławek, Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk, Sopot, and Ciechocinek.
