ADSM International Learning Experience (ILE)

Tiblisi, Georgia, 12 to 18 October 2026

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

 

ESTIMATED COSTS

All participants are responsible for covering their own travel and accommodation expenses. However, other expenses vary based on whether a participant is a current student at ADSM or not.

 

ADSM Students

For students, this will be considered as an elective course within their program of study, and tuition will be charged in accordance with their standard fee structure and selected payment plan. In addition, a participation fee of AED 3,500 will be payable to ADSM to cover the costs of selected activities organized as part of the trip.

 

Other Participants

A participation fee of AED 2,000 AED will be payable to ADSM to cover the costs of selected activities organized as part of the trip.

 

PRE ARRIVAL:

REGISTERING INTEREST: Interested students, alumni and professionals are required to register their interest and pay the required fees by 23 August 2026.

 

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: ADSM will limit the group to 20 participants, with a guaranteed availability for 10 active ADSM students.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY: Students that apply must be in good academic standing (CGPA 3.00 or higher) and have no outstanding fees or obligations to ADSM.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS AND ACCOMMODATION: Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements and accommodation. Arrangements should only be made once the Director of Student Affairs has confirmed that you have been accepted into the program.

VISA: Please note that if you need a visa to the host country, you need to apply earlier. If you are required to apply for a visa to the host country, apply for a visit/tourist visa. DO NOT apply for a Student Visa.

HEALTH INSURANCE: This will be part of your visa arrangements, you may be required to be covered for health and travel insurance for the period of time you will be away.

 

TRAVEL :
                                                               

ARRIVAL: You must arrive in Tibilisi, Georgia NO LATER than Sunday, 11 October 2026. Activities will begin early on Monday, 12 October 2026.

AIRPORT PICKUP: Participants are required to arrange for their own transportation to and from the airport.

DEPARTURE: Participants may leave after the last activity on Friday, 16 October 2026. Participants may also extend their trip by arriving earlier or leaving later, but it is for them to make all the plans.

 

PROGRAM DETAILS:

COURSE CONTENT: For ADSM students, this will be considered an elective course. ADSM’s academic standards will be applicable, with sessions held on campus prior to and after the trip. Dr. Boris Lezhava will be the course instructor and will oversee the organization of the course and its related activities. For other participants, s is a non-credit learning experience, which is not part of a program.

ATTENDANCE: All participants are required to be on site at designated times. Late arrival is disruptive to both the academics and participants.

EXTERNAL VISITS: Students will be required to participate in a number of external visits which is part of the learning process. Details of visits are outlined in this document.

ACTIVITIES: There will be approximately a number of organization/industry visits, learning workshops, and cultural experiences during the ILE. Participants will be given free time to explore the city. Normally, activities are organized between 10:00am until 6:00pm, while most evenings are free for participants. Please refer to the detailed brochure.
