To teach one course Introduction to Probability and Statistics in the BScM program in the Fall 2026 term
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Introduction to Probability and Statistics.
- Develop course materials including syllabi, lectures, assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Explain key concepts such as probability distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, and data interpretation.
- Guide students in applying statistical tools to real-world problems.
- Assess student performance fairly and consistently and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain academic integrity and ensure alignment with program learning outcomes and accreditation standards.
- Support student learning through consultation, office hours, or online platforms.
Skills
- Minimum Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related discipline (required).
- University-level teaching experience in statistics or quantitative methods (preferred).
- Strong ability to simplify complex concepts for non-specialist learners.
- Proficiency with statistical software and tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or similar).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must currently reside in the UAE and hold own valid residency visa.
