Student Recruitment Assistant

Student Recruitment Assistant shall play a vital role in attracting and enrolling talented students into our institution for both the graduate and undergraduate programs. Work closely with the recruitment team to support various activities and initiatives that promote our educational programs and campus culture.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and organizing school fairs, events, student exhibits, and other related events to recruit students both locally and internationally, which might require occasional travel plans also;
  • Interacts and communicates with prospective leads effectively and update them on recruitment-related events like open days, scholarships, etc.
  • Liaises with international/national students and recruitment agencies for student enrollment, assistance in filling applications, and processing commission payments to agents;
  • Basic program advising and counseling to students on offered programs, admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and fees;
  • Manages internal and external campus events, organize and execute campus tours, and other logistic arrangements for the event;
  • Liaise with marketing unit for promotions; maintain the website for recruitment content; update the brochures and other print material used for recruitment;
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the head of the unit and line manager
  • Suggest recruitment activities to meet student target numbers set by the line manager

Skills

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the same field or a similar nature position.
  • Cross culture awareness
  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with prospective students and their families.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to support recruitment events.
